Chinese startups OnePlus comes from lifting the veil on its first mobile, simply named One. A high-end smartphone at a ras price of daisies, which could well be the unexpected success of the year.
Galaxy S5, the HTC One or Nexus 5 have to worry? In the space of a few minutes, the One became a star of the Web. So manufacturer's website its OnePlus, who came to reveal all its characteristics and its tariff, did not resist the influx of people attracted to this mobile that combines performance and price floor.
From the point of view of its characteristics, the One has indeed nothing to envy to the best smartphones in the market. A Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB RAM, a photo 13 sensor quality megapixels, a 5.5 inch Full HD screen... All the specs are available from our colleagues from the laboratory 01net. Only small concern for fans of speed: OnePlus One is not compatible with the 4G in the 800 Mhz band, which limits his interest especially if you are a Subscriber 4G SFR or Orange.
The device runs on Android, obviously, but not any version, since it is of CyanogenMod (11s), an alternative OS here derived from 4.4 Android that offers advanced customization features and root access to at the outset. Moreover, the Cyanogenmod team also contributed to the creation of this mobile, which the interface was reviewed and corrected an Android / Cyanogenmod traditional.
But what distinguishes especially laptop nice of competition, it is his gun prices. It will be available in France to 269 euros in 16 GB and 299 euros only in 64 GB version. I.e. traditional device of entry or mid-range price, but not a monster like this!
OnePlus remained evasive about the date of marketing of its product, which will be available in the second quarter but by 'invitation' and co-optation, concepts that allow to predict that he will be waiting...
