Facebook launches AppLinks make, the easier Deep Linking between applications

At its F8 developers today conference, CEO Parse and co-founder Ilya Sukhar has announced the launch of AppLinks.org, a new initiative that will make the deep connection between native applications easier for developers.

"It's a shame that the URL is not a big deal on mobile now. If I try to open third-party applications, I'm stuck in the web browser where I have to log in again, said Sukhar." There's no unified way to access links across platforms. "

So, with this new system, you simply pass the application to a Web URL, and if a compatible mobile application is installed, it will automatically load this application instead of the web version. "We are exploring the Web for you. You don't have to do this - but you can, you just don't have to, says Sukhar.

Linking between the iPhone applications is currently a difficult proposal that often involved a number of steps. Google does for its fleet of iOS applications, for example, but there is no standard to invoke third-party applications that all developers can in. Now, developers add just a few lines of code to allow users to link applications.

Historically, the iPhone has always been the sharing of data between demanding applications and, as such, linking applications have been hard, too. During the last iterations, Apple loosened some of these restrictions and also linking easier applications.
